2D Animation Lip Sync- Final Assignment
So here it is my Final 2d animation assignment of the year:
Brief : Choose 2 Characters from featured animation films and complete a lip sync
Characters : Merlin and Madam Mim from the Sword and the Stone
Audio Track was edited from a scene in Two and a Half Men to fit my brief outlines
This lip sync was completed over a period of 2months whilst juggle 6 other Modules with converging deadlines.
I have learnt a lot from this assignment whilst also gaining so much more respect and admiration for the talented artist's who delivered such amazing performances from all my favourite Disney characters as a child.
This assignment was certainly one of the most challenging things I have ever attempted from a drawing point of view.
This short piece has roughly 300 drawings and from an animation point of view there is certainly room for a lot lot more. Unfortunately I didn't have time to perfect it or try and fix the mistakes I made.
I now know in future what to prepare for in terms of the huge of amount of work that goes into something like this and the importance of managing my time!
Anyways Enjoy :)

Visual Language Morph Assignment
A Visual Language project we were given as an assignemnt. We were to create 4 still images that showed a change of state/morph. Documented through a diary I based my morph around the overwhelming emotion people go through at the death of a close friend/relative. I represented this emotion throught illustrating my character melting, no longer strong and supported

Layout Pan - Angkor Wat , Cambodia
A layout I did as part of a class pan project in 2nd year, our theme for the pan was "Travelling through ancient Civilisations"
My section of the pan was through Angkor Wat in Cambodia, a place I cannot wait to see for myself.
I want to add more to this and colour it some day when I have more free time, perhaps this summer?
